Glenfalloch has been assessed as a "Garden of National Significance"
“The assessors were unanimous that this historic garden had regained its former status as one of the leading gardens in New Zealand and is now a ‘Garden of National Significance’” The Glenfalloch Garden has been critically evaluated by two professional assessors from the New Zealand Garden Trust. The assessors consider a range of factors before determining the final outcome. These areas include: landscape and design, plant material and use, maintenance, safety and overall impression.The 'pass mark' has been set very high for these gardens, so the visitor should be in no doubt of their quality. "We believe that a Garden of Significance is up with the best in the world, and is a garden not to be missed if you get the opportunity."

Guided Tours
There are walking tracks throughout our 30 acres of woodland garden that you can enjoy at your own pace or you can also take a guided tour with our professional staff, whose knowledge and hands-on experience add an invaluable dimension to the experience.
Guided tours are available between 9am and 4pm by arrangement.
